Cosmo Julius Cosma is Timmy Turner's dimwitted fairy godfather. He is also the father of Poof. Cosmo is regarded as one of the dumbest characters in the show.

Timmy's wish is Cosmo's command! Cosmo is Timmy's Fairy Godfather and he often misinterprets Timmy's wishes (his middle name might as well as be Oops!). But on the bright side, Cosmo is often the cause of Timmy's many many adventures. Paired with powerful magic and plenty of brain farts, Cosmo is definitely a recipe for trouble!.

Cosmo was born around 10,000 years ago in Fairy World. His fairy magic turned Jorgen von Strangle into a bomb, so fairy babies were banned until Poof was born.
